Miles Walker

From his earliest projects in Nashville’s Music Row up through his recent work with chart toppers, Walker works to make sure every artist gets the best version of their song possible. A graduate of Boston’s renowned Berklee Institute, Miles has gone from Nashville to Atlanta to LA and back, working on blockbuster projects in every possible genre. He's been superstar Usher Raymond's staff engineer. His work caught the attention of megaproducer Sean Garrett leading to his first (of many) number one hits (“Break Up” by Mario), soon followed by other smashes by Beyonce (“Diva”) and Britney Spears (“Toy Soldier”). Soon after, Miles joined up with the superstar producer duo Stargate, resulting in more hits and his first Grammy wins for Beyoncé's I am… Sasha Fierce, Usher’s Raymond v. Raymond, plus the smash hits Rihanna's 'Only Girl In the World' and ‘Firework’ by Katy Perry

His diverse experience and ability to marry what a song needs with what an artist wants has made him one of the most in-demand engineers in the game. For Miles, he still has the same hunger he had when he first started out. “At the end of the day I want artists to leave feeling that they got exactly what they need.” Though he has been nominated for thirteen Grammy’s, been a part of several #1 records, and helped artists go platinum, he’s got pretty simple criteria for what he’s proud of. “I’m proud of any record that people love. It doesn't have to win awards. People have infinite choices with music, and if you still want to listen to a song I helped bring to life, that means the most to me.”

After all the work that's gone into it, do you want your project in anyone else's hands?
